The Gentle Hat
The Gentle Hat is knitted on circular needles from the bottom up in stockinette stitch. In the middle of the cuff, 1 round is knitted in a contrasting colour, this round turns into 2 subtle, decorative lines after the cuff is folded over.

What’s on my needles
Winter Morning Hat
Winter has arrived. The days are fresh, cold, a clear, blue sky above me. I watch my breath in front of me as I walk my daily round. I took an unexpected break from designing knitwear — now, refreshed, renewed, rejuvenated, I’m getting back to it. I started this design last January and ended up having to change quite a bit of the original design which made it impossible to release it in time for winter. Now, I’ve made the necessary changes and am currently in the process of writing the knitting pattern. Thank you for your patience. It is very, very much appreciated.

My name is Julia Tröndle and I am an artist turned knitwear designer. I have a degree in Fine Arts but after I graduated, I realized that I’d much rather express myself artistically through designing knitwear and that’s how my brand ATELIER JULIA TRÖNDLE was born.
